James Edward "Jim" Fiorenza Jr.

1958 ∼ 2021

James “Jim” Fiorenza, Jr., 63, of Beaumont, Texas died on December 19, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Wanda Fiorenza, and survived by siblings, Cassie and spouse, Mike Simpson, Mark and spouse, Lisa Fiorenza, Carol and spouse, Steve Jagneaux, Jay Fiorenza, several nieces whom he adored, beloved family members, and many lifelong friends.

Jim was loved by all those that knew him, and he became a member of many families over the years. Though he put on a rough and tough guy persona, Jim was also someone who was a kind soul. He loved his family, friends, HUNTING and FISHING! He struggled with love and life as many of us do. He dealt with different life situations in his own way, and that did not mean that he loved us less. It actually showed us that he loved in “Jim’s way.” Many have heard the following from Jim “You know I love you; I don’t know where I would be, or what I would do without you.” You see, Jim always wanted us all to know that even though he was different and difficult at times, living life to the fullest, he ALWAYS LOVED us. We will miss you brother, may you rest in peace.

A visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service to Honor the Memory of Jim Fiorenza will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Melancon’s Funeral Home with Father Jim Courville officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Jeff Jorgensen, Wade Henry, J. C. Bruno, Brett, West, Zack Dishman, Kyle Williams, Mark Clarke and Tommy Patrizi.

I miss u so much today but that is nothing new. This cool weather coming brings back so many memories of our late night hunting trips and how devastated you were when u shot that beaver thinking it was a huge rat you felt so bad and talked it for months! Yoy had a heart of gold and they nailed it in your obituary when they said " u put on the tough guy persona act" exactly what it was ...AN ACT! I MISS U MORE THAN WORDS COULD EVER DESCRIBE... u know i love ya!

I don’t understand how a man that was bigger than life with such a commanding and endearing presence is just gone from us. The gigantic void you left in our hearts can never ever be replaced. You were and are so loved by so many. I wonder if you knew how much we all loved you? You just casually danced your way into our hearts and lives- Not a single one of us will ever be the same. I loved you then. I love you still! I can hardly wait to get to heaven someday soon to find you fishing on the far side banks of Jordan with that big grin on your face and Pappy napping under a big tree on the bank next to you. Rest, be at peace and know you are loved and missed immensely! TLC
