James Charles Gary Sr.

James Charles Gary, Sr., 79, of Port Neches, Texas passed away August 21, 2020. He was born on June 19, 1941 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late James Kuluis Gary and Ella Dickson Gary. James served his country proudly in the U. S. Air Force and was a member of Thriving House Church.

Those left to cherish James’s memory are his wife of 58 years, Karen Kirkpatrick Gary of Port Neches; his son, James Gary, Jr. of Nederland; his grandchildren, Jacoby Garlington and his wife Lynnette, Deja Garlington, Deja Bazile and fiancé Lexi MacDonald, Karissa Lemire, and Brock Lemire and his wife Whitney; and his great-grandchildren, Noah Hooks, Braydon Parker, Houston Brooks, and Ella Dawn Garlington. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughters, Kathy Gary and Jennifer Gary.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Thriving House Church in Port Arthur on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service being held at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Blanchard and Pastor April Blanchard officiating.
