James Wesley Hogg

James Wesley Hogg, 41, of Groves passed away, August 31, 2022 at his residence. James was born September 24, 1980 in Port Arthur to Ronnie Hogg and the late Myra Hull.

James is survived by his father, Ronnie Hogg of Groves; step mother, Joyce Rainey of Groves; uncles, Larry Hogg of Groves and Steve Hogg of Port Neches; nieces, Victoria Soriano and her husband Jeff and Brittaney Ward and her husband Garrett; great nieces, Brayleigh and Allie Ward; great nephew, Greyson Ward.

James was preceded in death by his mother Myra Hull; grandparents, Rayburn and Lorene Hill and sister, Kimberly Westberry who passed away in 2022.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2022, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland. A Celebration of Life Service to Honor the Memory of James Wesley Hogg will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
