Mr. Jim was the sweetest man. When he had the store, several of us mail carriers would buy his sandwhiches, and we ate them in the back of the store. We had some good times. He always joking with us. Then when I took over Roz route at the apts. I was fortunate to be his mail lady. Him and his wife were the customers friends. If I had a package to deliver, they always wanted me to have some coffee with them. He was a great man and will be missed. The way he lived and treated people, without a doubt he is in heaven. He loved his family and talked fondly of them always. Prayers to the family. Love, Debbie the mail lady

My family and I were customers at Thrifty Nifty. Maggie and Jim understood what true customer service was about. They were such nice people. May God bless and keep your family at this time. The East Family
