I had the honor and privilege to work with Jimmy for almost 4 years. Jimmy was one of them people that you could call up in the middle of the night and he would be there for you no matter what was going on with him. If you were having a bad day he would go out of his way to put a smile on your face or just crack a simple joke that you had no choice but laugh at. He was truly one of those people that you would never forget even if you just passed him for a moment because you better bet he was gonna talk to you. I know with out a doubt there’s a special place up above for you buddy! Fly high my friend until we meet again! Love you buddy

Jimmy and I were the best of friends when we were growing up. I think we rode on every street in Port Neches on our bicycles. I know that I am his Uncle, but we were so close in age that we still hung out together and later on we worked together at C.H. Hiest ( hydro- blasting). We kinda drifted away from each other after I moved to Lumberton, but I occasionally ran into him at the BASF plant were I could tell he was well liked there by his coworkers at the receiving office. Jimmy was all about his Nieces. Ashley and Caitlin were his world and later it was Averi and Kennedi! Jimmy will sure be missed! LOVE YOU my friend and Nephew! Mark

I have worked with Jimmy here at the plant for around 20 years, he got the nickname (The Yard Dog) . he knew who everyone was (as he never met a stranger) and also knew where everything was, if you needed it, he would find it and bring it, if you needed to know who was dealing with a said task/material (he was your man). He also took the time to make his interactions personal and would always leave you with a SMILE. Until we meet again. Donavon Gordon

The day i moved in across the street, Jimmy gave me the " whats this person doing at my friend Perrys house" look. He was fiercely protective of his family and neighbors, and we soon became fast friends. He lived to pick in me, and always said " oh lord, here comes trouble! Nobody was more loyal as a friend and we could count on him for anything. His word was gold. We already miss you terribly Jimmy. The neighborhood will never be the same. Until we meet again, Love Perry and Rachel.
