My brother Skipper was such a sweet gentle man. He proudly served in the U.S. Army 1st Cavalry unit as a helicopter door gunner in Vietnam. He was shot down twice and returned to us. He was one of an elite group of specialists to repair and build train wheel assemblies and loved it. Before retiring. He was last working security another job he loved before the loss of his Velena. He loved his community and loved mowing and yard work. He didn't even reveal the extent of his cancer to any of us. Rest in peace sweetheart.

Sending our deepest condolences to you and your family during your recent loss. Growing up across the street and knowing Skipper was like having a second family & brother and has left a hole in our heart, but I also know he suffered silently and is with his wife who he loved and missed dearly. RIP Skipper, you will be dearly missed. God bless, Linda & family
