James William Myer, 32, of Nederland, Texas passed away April 17, 2019. He was born in Nederland, Texas on July 6, 1986 to Edward V. Myer and Ruth Ann Harris Myer. He was a member of Church on the Rock.
Those left to cherish James memory are his father, Edward Myer of Nederland; his step-mother, Shirley Myer of Nederland; his brother, John Myer of Nederland; his uncles, Mark D. Myer and his wife, Patricia of Livingston and Terry Myer and his wife, Nancy of Groves; his aunts, Kristine D. Cortez and her husband, Jorge of West Orange and Aletha Telafero of Mauriceville; his great-aunt, Shirley Kewley of Opelousas, LA; and a host of other loving friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Martha Myer, Stanley Harris, and Patsy Santos.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Monday, April 22, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 2:00 P.M., Pastor Kenneth Bent officiant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
