James "Jimmy" Norbert Pellerin

James "Jimmy" Norbert Pellerin, 88, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at his residence.

Jimmy was born May 3, 1933 in Port Arthur, Texas to Antoine and Agnes Goulas Pellerin.

He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.

Jimmy retired from Firestone after 40 years of service as a Machinist. He also worked 10 years at Texaco.

Jimmy enjoyed watching football especially the Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame. He also loved traveling with his wife, delicious food and visiting the casino.

Visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Reverend Jim McClintock officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Antoine and Agnes Pellerin, his sisters, Vera Mullen and Helen Callahan, brothers, Antoine Pellerin and Charles Pellerin.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Etta Pellerin of Port Neches, Texas; children, Sharon Allen and husband Ross of Port Neches, Texas, Gay Stevens and husband Tom of Groves, Texas, James Pellerin and wife Cathi of Nederland, Texas, and Kristine Carley and husband Craig of Richmond, Texas; step-children,

April Bergeron of Port Neches, Texas, Buddy Guillot and wife Ronda of Port Neches, Texas, Randy Guillot and wife Cynthia of Iola, Texas, and Laury Ivey and husband Tom of Kingwood, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Aaron Pellerin, Ethan Pellerin, Tate Allen, Buddy Guillot, Tom Ivey, and Tommy Ivey, III.

Honorary Pallbearers: Johnny Garcia, Glenn Thibodeaux, and Gary Mullens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society - Southeast Texas, 2050 Spindletop Avenue, Beaumont, Texas 77705 or to Alzheimer's Association, 6055 South Loop East, Houston, Texas 77087-1005.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. Such a great person and a joy to be around. I will sure miss our deep conversations about how to fix the Cowboys. Our prayers are with Etta, Laury and the whole Guillot and Pellerin family.
