James Walter Golden

James Walter Golden, 64, of Nederland, Texas passed away February 2, 2012 at his residence. He was born on May 17, 1947 in Clarksville, Texas to the late N. L. and Lometta Thompson Golden. He served his country proudly in the U. S. Army.A funeral service will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H in Nederland at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012, Rev. Rhonda Chrisco officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service.James is survived by his wife, Virginia Hidago Golden of Nederland 4 sons, Rocky Russell of Port Neches, Billy Ray Deville of Nederland, James Anthony Deville of Beaumont, and Calvin Troy Deville of Orangefield 2 daughters, Roxana Baker of San Leon and Amanda Gregory of Pasadena 17 grandchildren 12 greatgrandchildren brother, Kent Golden of Deer Park 3 sisters, Betty Sanders of Alvin, Mitiz Franks of Deer Park, and Rhonda Chrisco of Houston several nieces and nephews and his puppies, Mister and Ugly. He is preceded in death by his mother sister, Ann Hughes and brother, Lloyd Golden.
