Jamie Lynn Vincent Daws “Peanut”, 42, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021. surrounded by her loving family. Jamie was born December 29, 1978 in Nederland, Texas to Sherry Fawvor and Dale Vincent.
Jamie was a member of Freedom Christian Fellowship and a devout Christian. She retired from the medical field after many years of service. Jamie was a giving person with a huge heart. She was devoted to feeding the homeless.
Jamie was preceded in death by her father, Dale Patrick Vincent and brother, Billy Vincent.
Those left behind to cherish Jamie’s memory are her husband of ten years, Christopher Byran Daws of Groves, Texas; sons, Jacob Coussou and Logan Daws; mother, Sherry Koons; sister, Shanda Rojas and her husband, Adrian; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karol and Keith Daws; and brother-in-law, Keith “Buddy” Daws, Jr. and his wife, Julia. Jamie is also survived by nieces and nephews, Megan Green, Blake Rojas and his wife, Abbie; Curtis Vincent; godson, Drake Rojas, Mackenzie Vincent, Kristen Vincent, Rylee Rojas, Taelor Wolf, William Daws, Matthew Daws, Cameron Daws and Kaeson Daws; and a host of great nieces and nephews; aunt, uncles and cousins.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Jamie’s Life to begin at 8:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home.
