Jamie had one of the sweetest souls I had ever been around. She was compassionate, loving, caring and I could see her parents traits in her. I pray for her family on earth which I know miss her terribly but also pray for her heavenly family since she is home with them.

Jamie was the sweetest woman. She was always so involved in school events with her kids. She was an amazing director who cared about her Nuskin team and was always so helpful. She loved her kids and husband so much. She will be greatly missed. Praying for peace for all of the family.

I’m still in shock and stunned with lots of tears again today. Jamie exemplified everything our Broussard family represents. Faith, devotion, loyalty, integrity, determination, kindness and love. May those of still in the human world follow her lead.

It’s hard to put into words how much Mrs. Jamie will be missed. From our talks to her making her famous cookies and snacks for the sleepovers Payden and I would have. She always had a smile on her face and was ready to have fun and be adventurous. Mr. Ronnie, Payden, Paxton, and Princess, I know there may not be many comforting words right now, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. I love y’all so so much.

Dr. Packman is the reason that I became a dietitian. I began college as an education major, wanting to be an elementary teacher. Once I took her basic nutrition course at Lamar University-Beaumont, I was hooked! I went that semester and changed my major to Nutrition-Dietetics. After 20 years of working as a clinical dietitian I have returned to Lamar to teach. Dr. Packman will always hold a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. --Krissie May

Jamie was such a kind person. She never missed a beat when it came to helping out in any way with Paxton’s class or grade level. Whether she was needed for parties or to teach a lesson on sun exposure, she was there.
