Jane Brewbaker Singleton, age 86, of Nederland passed away on April 14, 2012, at Vidor Health and Rehab Center in Vidor. She was born on August 17, 1925 in Roanoke, Virginia to the late Edmund Brewbaker and Lillian Thrasher Brewbaker and was a member of the Methodist faith.Jane is survived by son, Thad Singleton and wife, Marion of Orange daughters, Kelley Ramirez and husband David of Port Arthur, and Connie Singleton of Houston. She is also survived by grandchildren: Martin Longoria, Jason Guerra and wife Ashley Mitchell Singleton Matthew Singleton Rebecca Sims Paige Guerra and Jeffrey Sims and four great grandchildren. Jane is also survived by sister, Marjorie Watts of Birmingham, Alabama. She is preceded in death by sons Roland Gus Singleton and Mitchell Kent Singleton.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H Nederland with Reverend Michael Halliburton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
