Janelle Elaine Tatum was born in Gladwater, Texas on the evening of May 8, 1968 to Robert and Shirley Hickman. She was married to Robert Tatum, Jr. 23 years and blessed with three children, Robert Tatum, III (Trey 22 yrs.), Krystal Tatum (20 yrs.), and Bryce Tatum (12 yrs.). Janelle worked as a Nurse's Aid, a wonderful dog groomer, Salvation Army Coordinator, and Market Basket employee. She loved family activities, going to the beach, fishing, singing, and working with children. The Tatum family, have been residents of Groves, TX for 21 years. Janelle Tatum leaves to celebrate her life, cherish her memories and mourn her passing , a loving and devoted mother and step-father, Shirley and Donald Brack of Groves; a caring husband, Robert Tatum, Jr.; daughter, Krystal Tatum; two sons, Robert (Trey) Tatum and Bryce Tatum; god-daughter, Joanna Williams of Lufkin; step-sister, Vina Buse of Wimberly, TX; two half-brothers, B.J. Hickman of Gladwater, TX and Jack Hickman of Arizona; two aunts, Suzy Truitt of Arizona and Marilyn Hurt of Kansas; cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m., Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Reverend Donny Robbins pastor of Celebration of Life Church officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
