Janet Patrice Gonzalez Arriola

Janet Patrice Gonzalez Arriola, 56, of Groves, Texas was born on November 24, 1960, in Port Arthur, Texas and passed away at her home in Groves on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
Janet is preceded in death by her father, Augustine “Gus” Gonzalez and her mother, Helen Gonzalez.
Those left to cherish Janet’s memory are, her children, Andrea Arriola, Guadalupe “Luqui” Estrada and Marcelino “Lino” Arriola III; grandchildren, Ison Marshall, Davon Marshall, Maricela Arriola, Rae Leigh’n Arriola and Marcelino Arriola IV; brothers, William “Bill” Gonzalez, Paul Gonzalez and Michael “Mike” Gonzalez, sisters, Carrie Reed “KeKe” Gonzalez and Michele “MeMe” Gonzalez.
Janet was a graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School and she enjoyed playing the piano, water skiing, sports and camping, but most of all she LOVED spending time with her family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday evening, November 20, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pentecostals of Nederland Church, 2300 Spurlock Road in Nederland. A visitation will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas at 11:30 a.m.
