Janice Kathleen Sapp, 74, of Hemphill, Texas passed away December 5, 2019. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on August 13, 1945 to the late Lloyd Fowler and Beulah Lebouef Flower.
Those left to cherish Janice’s memory are her daughters, Jennifer Marrs and her husband, James of Port Neches, Rebecca Sapp of Nederland, Cynthia Lord and her husband, John D. of Hemphill, Susan McGuire of Port Arthur, and Stephany Jay Sapp of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her son, David Ancel Sapp of Nederland; her grandchildren, James David Marrs, Mary Leigh Marrs, Sarah May Louise Flowers, Abigail Lynn Flowers, Brandon Scott Aldridge, Brant Louis Hardisty, Jr., Jessica Sue McGuire, Monte Jay Neel, Charles P. Neel, and Bonnie Kathleen Bynum; 12 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Linda Sue Johnson of Mena, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Jay Sapp; her grandson, Joseph David Marrs; and 13 brothers and sisters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 pm at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a Memorial Service being held at 5:30 p.m.
