Jean Ann Loncon, 74, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, August 19, 2019. Jean was born January 21, 1945 in Port Arthur, Texas to Cleveland Melancon and Margaret Courville Melancon. She was a lifelong area resident and homemaker. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Loncon. Survivors include her two daughters, Darlene Young and husband Scott, and Gina Simmons all of Fannett; two sons, Jerry Loncon and wife Julie, and Jamie Loncon and wife Carlee all of Groves; sister, Linda Breaux of Groves; grandchildren, Jonathon Breuer, Leslye Breuer, Klara Morfeld, Tori Knepp, Conner Knight, Andy Loncon, Shayla Parker, and Brandon Young; eight great-grandchildren; and beloved dog, Clyde. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
