Jeanette Joe Britnell, 80 of Bridge City, Texas passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.
Jeanette was born December 31, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Cullin Henry Wise and Clara Lucille Covington Wise. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Liberty Baptist Church in Bridge City.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years Richard D. Britnell, Sr.; son Richard D. Britnell, Jr.; and sister, Betty Jane Garner.
Survivors include her two daughters, JoAnn Buffington of Bridge City, and Sherry Lejeune and husband James of Bridge City; grandchildren, Chad Britnell, Kimberly Garcia, Aimee Weldon, Carmen Hudspeth, Aaron Lejeune, Joshua Buffington, Jacob Buffington, and Jared Buffington; great-grandchildren, Carley Britnell, Chelsea Britnell, Cohen Hudspeth, Amelia Thomas Lejeune, Mathew Granger, Rylee Lejeune, Ila Buffington, Tilian Buffington, and great-great grandchild Jaxton Sanders.
A visitation for family and friends will be Monday, October 19, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Terry Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
