Jeanette Roth Hendrix

Jeanette Roth Hendrix Jeanette Roth Hendrix, 87, of Groves passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Port Arthur Community Home. She was born on September 19, 1926 in Slagle, Louisiana and raised by her parents, Lonnie and Muriel Miller. Jeanette lived in Groves and was a 1944 graduate of Port Neches Groves High School. She lived in Livingston, Texas many years before moving back to Groves a few years ago. She always enjoyed being in her yard gardening, taking care of her flowers and feeding the birds. She also loved playing dominos, but most of all Jeanette loved spending time with her family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Reverend Dustin Guidry of Ridgewood Baptist Church will be officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Jeanette was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Roth, her second husband, L.B. Hendrix and her son, Billy Roth. She is survived by two daughters, Dixie Thibodeaux of Groves, TX and Linda Rice of Nederland, TX, son, Ronald Roth of Ocean Springs, MS., sister, Flora Gene McDaniel of Buna, TX, brother, Thomas O'Banion of Palacios, TX., nine grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren and two great great granddaughters.
