My friend for so many years. Since middle school. Like so many others, I loved her always. She was so genuine. She truly loved people with her whole heart. I'm privileged to be one of those people. I will always miss her early morning "Gifs" showing her humor and her love for our friendship. It started my days with a smile. Her last day with us I got to chat with her and I'm thankful for that. My prayers now for Mom, Toby, and Tony. I love y'all.

I first met Jeannette when we both started at C.O. Wilson Junior High. We became very close friends that developed into a best friend relationship and has remained that way for 50 years. All through junior high and high school if you saw one of us you saw the other. We did everything together. We went on to serve in each other’s weddings as maid of honor. I moved away to MS, but we stayed in touch, and got together through the years. I moved back to Texas in 2015 and that allowed us to visit and see each other more often. True friends are hard to come by but Jeannette and I were fortunate enough to have shared a relationship that can only be described as a true friendship. We could tell each other anything and we knew we would not be judged. She was my best friend forever and I will miss her terribly. Love you big, Jeannette. RIP my BFF!!!

I met Jeannette when I was 14 years old in Houston. I thought she was the coolest person ever and we hit it off immediately. John and I were dating and they were so close in age and she was like an old friend the minute we met. Through the years she has always included us and we had so much fun and having her with us was always joyful. I’m going to miss my dear sweet “cuz” and have so many memories to keep me happy until we meet again!

Growing up, Jeannette was one of those Neighborhood Kids along with me that lived on the Alphabet streets (Detroit, Elgin, Franklin and Gary) in Nederland. She was one of those you saw in school but also saw a lot of after school and weekends. She was funny and a little mischievous, but like all of us in our little town, just a normal good kid that grew up with Family and friends. She was kind and very caring with her friends, family and her pets. I always looked forward to see all the neighborhood kids at our Class reunions and Jeannette and I was always happy to see each other again and reminisce about our childhoods. Her smile and laughter will be missed. My sympathy to her family and close friends, but may the memory of her beautiful life be cherished forever.

I remember when I first met Janette. Toby was just walking. And being a hair dresser I remember their beautiful hair. In all the years since, in everything Janettte went through every time I saw her she always had a smile A smile that was infectious. You just couldn’t be around her and not be happy She was loved and will be missed by many. My prayers for her family
