Jeannie P. Schroeder, 60, of Crystal Beach, Texas passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017. Jeannie was born August 28, 1956 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Hugh Charles Parker and JoAnne Fogie Parker. Jeannie was a former resident of Groves for 35 years before moving to Crystal Beach 5 years ago. She was a devout wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Groves. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Chuck Schroeder of Crystal Beach; daughters, Jaycee Sanchez and husband Esteban of Port Arthur, and Annie Schroeder of Houston; son, Eric Schroeder of Groves; sister, Carmen Barclay and husband Harold of Denham Springs, LA.; brother, Charles Parker and wife Barbara of Watson, LA; five grandchildren, Hannah Allen, Gage Allen, Larry Schroeder, Sadie Schroeder, and KLynn Schroeder. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 30, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Marty Boddie officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Chuck I will never forget the first time I met Jeannie. We were water skiing on Cow Bayou. Jeannie was such a great lady. I will always remember the many times we helped y'all move. Such a patient person. I will always cherish the memories and the times we shared. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers

The Schroeder Zoo will never be same. 30 plus years of friendship. I will miss her smile and soft spoken voice. Her pride and joy was always her family. We will always cherish our memories of her.
