Jeff “Jay” Wesley Boyd, 67, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at his residence in Port Acres Texas.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Officiating will be Pastor Mike Halliburton.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Jeff was born in Port Acres, TX, on September 24, 1955, He was the son of Joseph R. Boyd and Tennie Viola Boyd. He worked as a Welder Fabricator for Luther’s Custom Iron in Port Arthur for many years. He was a member of New Covenant Church in Port Acres, for over thirty years. During his free time, he loved to coach football, baseball, and basketball youth programs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Boyd, and his siblings, James, Shirley, and Dorothy.

He is survived by his mom, Tennie Boyd of Port Arthur, TX; daughter, Jennifer Boyd of Port Acres, TX; sons, Justin Boyd of Orange, TX; Joshua Boyd Orange, TX; four grandchildren, Grace and Lillian Boyd, and the twins, Jasmin, and Briana Tamayo; brothers, Clifton Boyd and his wife Paula of Port Acres, TX; Ross Boyd and his wife Donna of Port Neches, TX.
