Jeffery Lynn Broussard

Jeffery Lynn Broussard, Sr., 71, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Jeffery was born March 18, 1941 in Orange, Texas to John S. Broussard and Ela Robinson Broussard. He was a lifelong area resident and retired pipefitter from Local #195. He was a member of Word of Life Church and Woodsman of the World. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Kay Broussard and great-grandson, Noah Newman. Survivors include his wife, Delores Escagne Broussard; daughter, Judy Lynn Broussard and partner, Linda of Port Arthur; sons, Curtis P. Broussard and wife, Kim of Port Arthur, Jeffery Lynn Broussard, Jr. and wife, Janis of Groves; sister, Johnnie June Viator and husband, Jearld of Port Arthur; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend David Logan officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
