Jeffery Allen Pelt, 57, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2022, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. Jeff was born on October 6, 1964 in Galveston, Texas to Billy and Virginia Pelt.
Jeff was a good-hearted man, with a passion for loving all animals. He cherished his mother deeply and was very protective of his family. Jeff loved to pick and joke with everyone. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Jeff had a love for cooking for his family and did so on many occasions.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Billy H. Pelt; brother, Steven Gene Pelt; and his beloved wife, Audrey Adams Pelt.
Those left behind to cherish Jeff’s memory are his mother, Virginia Pelt of Port Arthur, TX; sisters, Vickie Allen of Port Arthur, TX and Pamela Ann of Texas City, TX; partner, Diane Heaslet of Port Arthur, TX; nieces, Ashley Nunez of Lumberton, TX; Falan Pelt of Lufkin, TX; and Brandie Perkins of Leesville, LA; great nieces, Kyleigh Robin and Hannah Robin; great-great nieces, Savannah Cannon and Cameron Blackford.
Cremation services are entrusted to Melancon’s Funeral Home.
