Jennie Marie Pecorino, 94, of Nederland passed away on Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur. She was born in Beaumont, Texas on July 9, 1918, to the late Frank Joseph Bonura and Bernadette Branda Bonura. Jennie was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland.She is preceded in death by her parents husband, Victor Thomas Pecorino, Sr. brother, Sam Bonura and sister, Dora Eastling. Jennie is survived by son, Victor Pecorino and wife Susan of Nederland daughter, Elizabeth Byford and husband Ivan W. of Dayton. She is also survived by grandchildren: Sherri Pecorino, Amber Byford, Amanda Byford, Frank Pecorino and wife Diana, Emily Mauer and husband Jason greatgrandchildren, Jaci, Micah, Peyton and Parker.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 15, 2013 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland, Father Msgr. Dan Malain celebrant. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Port Arthur. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Melancons Funeral Home, 1605 Ave. H in Nederland.
