Jennifer Jo Terrell

1985 ∼ 2023

Jennifer Jo Terrell

Jennifer Jo Terrell, 38, of Groves, Texas had an unexpected medical emergency and scored her ultimate goal in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston.

Jennifer was born in Port Arthur, Texas, on January 15, 1985, to Jeff and Beth Terrell.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Charles Terrell and her grandparents, Earl and Odette Guidry, Charles Walker, and Andrew “A.C” Clinton Terrell.

She is survived by her parents, Jeff and Beth Terrell of Groves, TX; her grandmother, Latretta Jo Walker of Groves, TX; and her daughter, Kallee Jo Fox of Groves, TX; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Jennifer was an adoring mother to her cherished Kallee Jo, a devoted and attentive daughter, a fiercely loyal and reliable friend, a home health nurse who spent her days taking care of people in need, and an amazing soccer coach who mentored many young women over the years.

Kallee Jo was not only her pride and joy, but her “rock and greatest blessing.” Jennifer fulfilled her motherly mission to lead Kallee to Christ and noted that as her greatest accomplishment. The bond and unconditional love between Kallee and Jennifer is unmeasurable and eternal. Jennifer’s beautiful blue eyes beamed with pride every day for her baby girl.

Jennifer worked hard for her dreams and showed relentless effort on the soccer field, but she was most passionate diligent in taking care of the people she loved. Her friends treasured that she was a constant source of protection. She was a safeguard for the hearts of her lifelong friends. Sentiments resound of Jennifer being a “no matter what,” a “drop it all to be there,” a “never going down without a fight,” “fierce” best friend.

Coach Jen loved coaching and loved being on the field with her players, but most of all she loved being a mentor and positive role model. She treated her players like they were an extension of her family and was always there to celebrate their accomplishments, pick them up after a tough loss and make them better people, both on and off the field. Jennifer’s Coastal Premier family will miss her more than words can explain, but to Coach Jen they want to say, “As you look down from Heaven onto all of the fields you ever set foot upon, we hope you smile at the lives you have touched and the legacy you have left.” May God place his hand on your shoulder and say, “Well done.”

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Services celebrating the beautiful life of Jennifer will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Officiating will be Pastor Faith and Pastor Coby Roach. A burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

We want to offer our sincere condolences.Coach Jen was a wonderful coach. My daughter played on her team and she was the first coach who understood my daughter and her adhd.Coach Jen helped SueAnna to believe in herself ,and because of her love and compassion ,that was the best season she had. My daughter loved going to practice everyday because of Coach Jen.She played her best games because she wanted to make Coach Jen proud of her,and that she did. She always gave SueAnna hugs, and if anyone knows my daughter, she is a hugger, especially when she feels welcomed by someone. We will thoroughly miss you Coach Jen. Thank you for encouraging my daughter and never giving up on her. Love,The Vroomans and SueAnna Johnson
