Jeremy Blair Jackson, 34, of Bridge City, Texas died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his home. Jeremy was born March 16, 1977 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Ronny Jackson and Elizabeth Besse Jackson. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City and a US Army Veteran. He served in Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne 782nd Brigade Support Battalion. He was a life member of the 82nd Airborne Association and Disabled Veterans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church with Reverend Steve Leger officiating. Military graveside rites to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Traditional Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. and a Cursillo Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Surviving relatives include his wife, Debbie Jackson of Bridge City, Texas; father and mother, Ron and Bitsy Jackson of Orange, Texas; brother, Jared Jackson and fiance Christy of Nederland, Texas.
