Jeremy Blair Jackson, 34, of Bridge City, Texas died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his home. Jeremy was born March 16, 1977 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Ronny Jackson and Elizabeth Besse Jackson. He was a lifelong area resident and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Bridge City and a US Army Veteran. He served in Afghanistan with the 82nd Airborne 782nd Brigade Support Battalion. He was a life member of the 82nd Airborne Association and Disabled Veterans. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church with Reverend Steve Leger officiating. Military graveside rites to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Traditional Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. and a Cursillo Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Surviving relatives include his wife, Debbie Jackson of Bridge City, Texas; father and mother, Ron and Bitsy Jackson of Orange, Texas; brother, Jared Jackson and fiance Christy of Nederland, Texas. I will never, ever forget the pain Aunt Louisa & Uncle Amos endured with the sudden loss of Andy. I am so sorry that all of you must now endure the same grief. May God and time be able to ease some of your pain.

I met Jeremy in the 8 grade. He was a good guy and always had a lot of friends that cared for him. He was kind and simply funny. I cannot believe this and I wish your family didnt have to go thru this. But know Jeremy was a positive impact on anyone he met.

Jeremy and I were classmates beginning back at Travis Elementary. He was always a funny and caring person. Prayers for his family and friends in this difficult time. Rest assured he is in Heaven and him and 'Leroy' are looking down on us all smiling.
