Jeremy Michael Martinez, 37, of Nederland, Texas., passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Jeremy was born in Port Arthur, Texas., on July 25, 1980 to Patsy Beth Lynch and the late, Jude Anthony Martinez.
Those left to cherish Jeremy’s memory are his loving mother, Patsy Beth Lynch of Nederland; step-father, Morris Edward Lynch of Nederland; daughter, Jasmine Michelle Martinez of Nederland; sister, Toni Thibodeaux and her husband, Bryan of LaBelle; step-sisters, Kim Tucker and her husband, Troy of Orange, Lanie Furlough and her husband, Chris of Orange; step-brother, Morris Edward Lynch, Jr. of Nederland; grandmother, Mary Beth Alford of Nederland; aunts, Mary Martinez Wood of Port Neches and Sherry Alford Mullins of Nederland; nieces, Jaelyn Thibodeaux; nephews, Doug Sartin, Owen and Weldon Tucker, Caleb and Chase Furlough, Slade Lynch; girlfriend, Carla Culver and her daughters, Jacie and Maddie Culver. Jeremy is also survived by countless friends and other extended family members that he loved very much.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, Jude Anthony Martinez; grandfathers, Pat Alford and Johnny Martinez; grandmother, Virgie Martinez and aunt, Carol Salles.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Life Church, located at 4600 Jimmy Johnson Blvd, Port Arthur, Texas., on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service to begin at 12:00 p.m., also at the church. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Services are under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
