Jerry Wade Burroughs, 54, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014 in Lake Jackson. He was born on September 29, 1960 to the late Coya and Pat Burroughs. He worked in construction as a pipefitter.

Jerry is survived by his two sisters, Janet McCurley of Beaumont and Darla Mickley and husband, Perry of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Bob Logan officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
