Jerry Gray Millwood

Jerry Gray Millwood, 74, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022, in Port Arthur, Texas.

Chapel Service will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at 4:00p.m. at Tisdale Lann Funeral Home in Nettleton, Mississippi. Officiating will be Reverend Bradley Geno. Private burial will follow at White Zion Cemetery in Furrs, Mississippi.

Visitation will be from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

He was born in Plantersville, Mississippi to Leon Millwood and Maud Ella Edwards Millwood. He retired from the United States Coast Guard with many metals. He was a member of American Legion in Nederland.

He is preceded in death by his wife Mary “Jane” Millwood and guardian parents L. R. Magers and Mary Ruth Magers.

He is survived by his son, Phil Millwood of Birmingham, Alabama; sisters, Regina King and husband Jamie of Plantersville; Mary Nell Hand of Nettleton, Mississippi; brothers, Edward L. Millwood of Foley, Alabama; Woody Magers and wife Judy of Nettleton, Mississippi; and Thomas Magers and wife Debbie of Nettleton, Mississippi

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to American Legion Post - 7 - 3750 Memorial Blvd. Port Arthur, Texas 77640.
