Jerry Pilley, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on April 14, 1937 in Lubbock, Texas to George Pilley and Mamie Coleman Pilley. Jerry had lived in Groves for twenty years and was a member of Harvest Chapel in Orange, Texas. He was retired as a butcher from Safeway in Dallas. Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Airforce during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Jerry Young officiating. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Beaumont. A visitation for family and friends will be before the service on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Nell Pilley, two sisters, Opal Emerson and Norma Harwood, and brother, Eldred Pilley. He is survived by two daughters, Tirena Ann Henry of Groves, TX and Eva Misty Marie Bernal and husband Jayde of Salt Lake City, Utah, two sons, Ed Pilley of Groves, TX and Jerry Pilley and wife Mary of Bridge City, TX, ten grandchildren and one great grandson, Preston Harrison.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing, but I know he's flying high in the Heavens with his lies and Savior. He is going to make a great angel! Wet love you Preston and we are here for you if you need a shoulder or a conversation or just to sit in silence and reflect on what q kind man he was.
