Jerry Dale Reed

Jerry Dale Reed, 88, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at his residence in Port Neches.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Officiating will be Mr. Jeff Trahan. Burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2023, at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

Jerry was born in Chataignier, Louisiana, on December 24, 1934, to Adam T. Reed and Matilda Manuel-Reed. He worked for Gulf Oil/Chevron and was a member of Memorial Church of Christ. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his by his wife of sixty-one years Shirley Reed; seven sisters, and seven brothers.

He is survived by his daughters, Kim Rogerson and husband Bob of Dallas, TX; and Lori Alexander of The Woodlands, TX; son, Mike Reed of Port Neches, TX; four grandchildren, Brittney Summerville, Kelli Puterbaugh, Kyle Rogerson, and Jace Alexander; five great-grandchildren, Nikolas Rind, Clara, Luke, Emily Puterbaugh, and Beau Rogerson; sister, JoAnn Aguillard of Ville Platte, LA.
