Jerry Daniel Toups Jerry Daniel Toups, 71, of Beaumont, Texas died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Christus St. Catherine Hospital in Katy, Texas. Jerry was born December 14, 1940 in Abbeville, Louisiana to John Dalton Toups and Gertrude Villamez Toups. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a retired Texaco Journeyman/Electrician. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Rev. Msgr. Bennie Patillo officiating and Rev. Kyle Williams assisting. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, John Ray Toups. Surviving relatives include his daughter, Nan Ammel and husband Michael of Katy, Texas; son, Jay Toups and wife Angela of Dayton, Texas; sisters, Diane Staten of Alvin, Texas; Judy Porter and husband Max of San Diego, California; Mattie Gougenheim and husband Sam of The Woodlands, Texas; brother, Tom Toups and wife Val of Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren, Jacob Daniel Ammel, Andrew Robert Lee Toups, Christina Marie Ammel, and Carly Joy Ammel.
