Jesus “Chuche” Cardenas, 58, of Port Arthur, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Oak Groves Nursing Home in Groves.

Funeral Services will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. officiating service will be Reverend Joseph Sigur. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

Visitation will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Jesus was born on March 13, 1964 in Cotija Michoacan, Mexico. He was the son of Rafael Cardenas Chavez and Soledad Maldonado Ruiz.

He is preceded in death by his mother Soledad Maldonado Ruiz and brother Franciso Cardenas of Cotija Michoacan, Mexico.

He is survived by his father Rafael Cardenas of Cotija Michoacan, Mexico; daughters, Veronica Ochoa of Groves, Texas; Olivia Colin of Groves, Texas; Roxanna Cardenas and husband Ramiro Cavazos of Groves, Texas; and Robbie Colin and husband Bruno Colin of Groves, Texas; grandchildren, Isabelle Colin, Jesse Colin Jr, Alex Ochoa, Sophia Ochoa, Vincent Cavazos, Emma Colin, Bruno Colin Jr.; brothers, Jose Cardenas, Rafael Cardenas, Sergio Cardenas, Salvador Cardenas; sisters, Gloria Cardenas, Marta Cardenas, Norma Cardenas, Christina Cardenas, Anjelica Cardenas, Griselda Cardenas and their families.
