Jewett Nugier

Jewett Nugier, 83, of Groves, died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas. She was born on April 1, 1926 in San Antonio, Texas to Raymond Harold Lee, Sr. and Eugenia Mayfield Lee. Jewett was a lifelong resident of this area and retired as Assistant Manager from Speir's Discount Foods after more than 20 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home Chapel in Groves with burial to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Reverend Alan Van Hooser of First United Methodist Church in Groves will be officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be Sunday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Jewett was survived by her husband, Wallace Nugier of Groves, Tx.; three daughters, Nancy Flurry Borel and husband, James of China, Tx., Lou Smith Gomez of Port Neches, Tx., and Debbie Hamilton and husband, Harry of Dayton, Tx.; four sons, Raymond Flurry of Groves, Tx., Phillip Nugier and wife, Vicki of Poynette, Ws., Jimmy Nugier and wife, Brenda of Santa Fe, Tx., and Tommy Nugier and wife, Bebe of Bridge City, Tx.; sister, Rebecca Kennedy of Livingston, Tx., brother, R. H. Lee and wife, Helen of Port Arthur, Tx., eleven grandchildren, Shanna Borel, Kristi Borel Morris, Neil Tamez, Nicholas Gomez, Nathan Gomez, Brian Nugier, Stacy Nugier, Karyn Nugier, Bridgett Nugier, Crystal Nugier, Danyelle Nugier Browne; twelve great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
