Jimmie Ray Reeves, Sr., 74, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Monday, March 28, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Jimmie was born December 30, 1941 in Port Arthur, Texas to Joseph Reeves and Oma Eaves Reeves. He was a lifelong area resident and retired from Iron Workers Local 125. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Marty Reeves of Beaumont; daughter, Jodie Warren and her husband Ray of Austin; sons, Jimmie R. Reeves, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Austin, Jerry K. Reeves and his wife Stacy of Nederland; sister, Evelyn Lawrence of Port Neches; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 1, 2016 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas with Reverend Guy Williams officiating.
