Jimmy C. Dawkins, 86, of Nederland, Texas passed away May 7, 2021. He was born in Crossett, Arkansas on October 28, 1934 to the late John Clive Dawkins and Willie Mabelle Farrar Dawkins. Jimmy served his country proudly in the U. S. Marines and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Port Neches.
Those left to cherish Jimmy’s memory his children, Jennifer Davis and her husband Randy of Port Arthur, Jeff Dawkins and his wife Jenny of Houston, and Carol Neumann of Canyon Lake; his grandchildren, Ashlea Landry, Craig Davis, Jessica Beauchamp, Jared Dawkins, Jacob Dawkins, Grant Dawkins, Austin Neumann, and Clark Neumann; and 8 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Jane Aguillard Dawkins; his son Greig Dawkins; and 3 sisters.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Port Neches, with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Larry Delcambre officiant.
