Jo Ann Rita Arisco, 84, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Cascades at Port Arthur. Jo Ann was born in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Mamie and Charlie Arisco on November 25, 1937.

Jo Ann was always pleasant and happy. She loved playing bingo and enjoyed her trips to the casino’s. Jo Ann enjoyed arts and crafts and any activities the nursing home provided. Most of all Jo Ann enjoyed being in the company of others.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Mamie (Palermo) Arisco and Charlie Vincent Arisco; brothers, Joe Arisco and Tony Arisco; sister, Marie Roccaforte.

Those left behind to cherish Jo Ann’s memories are numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and her extended family at the Cascades at Port Arthur.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
