Joan Marqueta Robinson

Joan Marqueta Robinson, 89, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Twin Lakes Rehab & Care Center in San Augustine, Texas. Joan was born January 27, 1929 in Independence, Missouri to Mark Gore and Flossie Cruce Gore. She was a longtime area resident and retired sales clerk from Bealls Department Store. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Billy Robinson; and brother, Donald Gore. Survivors include her three daughters, Nancy Fee of Groves, Therese Richardson and husband Jerry of Port Arthur, Kristy Duhon and husband Keith of Port Neches; two sons, Martin Robinson and wife Melody, and Dirk Robinson and wife Kelli all of Fannett; ten grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 2, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
