Joan Mary Skelton

Joan Mary Skelton, 82, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 in Groves, Texas. Joan was born September 9, 1936 in Poughkeepsie, New York to William Ennis Skelton and Eleanor Pointer Skelton. She was a resident of Groves for 60 years and a retired Clerk in the Research Department at Texaco with 40 years of service. Joan was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches and the Joy of Living Bible Study at First Baptist Church in Groves. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Port Neches with Dr. Jason Martin officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church in Port Neches. Surviving relatives include her sister, Carol Skelton Paslean and husband James of Port Neches, Texas; brother, Thomas Ennis Skelton and wife Eve of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 2 nieces, Eleanor Skelton and Olivia Skelton; 3 nephews, Michael Paslean and wife Sherri, Jason Paslean and wife Lesley, and William Skelton; 3 great nieces, Paige, Hannah, and Isabel Paslean.
