Joan Sue Watts, 76, of Port Acres, Texas passed away November 18, 2012 at her home. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 16, 1936 to the late James and Grace Riley McCreary. Joan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a beloved mom and grandmother, gracious wife and dear sister too many. Funeral services will be held at Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Jeff Bell officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.Joan is survived by her children, Paul Watts, III and wife, Karen of Groves, Larry Dowden and wife, Laverne of Cedar Park, Randy Dowden and wife, Mitzi of Spring, Tara Cureton, Debra Roberts and husband, Jerry of Vidor, and Charles Anderson and wife, Toni of Lawrenceville, GA 15 grandchildren 8 greatgrandchildren sisters, Betty Estes and husband Arlie of Port Neches and Grace Guillory of Haughton, LA and brother, Jimmy McCreary of Beaumont.
