JoAnn Buff

JoAnn Kennedy Buff LeJunie, 84, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her home in Port Neches.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Officiating will be Paster Mark Dubon also with both sons speaking.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023, at Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.

JoAnn was born on January 1, 1939, in Carriere, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Fred H. Kennedy and Myrtle (Johnson) Kennedy. She grew up in Nederland and graduated from Nederland High School in1956.  She worked at several convenience stores in the Midcounty area including Sak n Pak and Country Pantry. JoAnn was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by Noel Buff, Sr., Aubrey LeJunie, son: Jeff Buff, sister: Betty Ruth Woods, brothers: Fred Jr., Roland, and James Kennedy, great-granddaughter: Kayla Turner.

She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Buff and wife Terri of Bauxite, AR, and Scott Buff of Port Neches, TX; her daughter, Cindy Buff of Port Neches, TX; grandchildren, Brandy Ash, J.J. Ash, Rebecca Moser and husband Ed, Sarah Appling and husband Jeremy, and Shane Buff; great-grandchildren, Lucy, Wesley, Kenzie, Taylon, Gavin, and Weston.
