I am so sorry to hear about Joanna. I have known her since she was in school. I used to visit her oldest sister Malinna when we were in Junior High and High School. She was always so polite and always had that beautiful smile. After she went to nursing school, I would see her at the hospital and different Dr's ogfices where she was a nurse. We exchanged phone numbers and always tried to keep on touch from time to time.always a smile, a laugh and let's get together. My prayets go out to your family, Hollie and Brooke. I KNOW YOU WILL MISS HER. Mr. Fred Hollier Sr., Fred Jr., Paul, Jeff, Jan Jill and families my heart goes out to you. To Kemi and Erica I know she was special to you both and your families. May God bless each of you and give you grace , peace and comfort. Love and Hugs, Norma Haney Cates

Joanna is my mother's niece and my cousin. My fondest memory of Joanna was as a little girl, she would babysit me and let me spend the night. Joanna was always "made up" and to my little self looked like a model or movie star. I loved watching her put on her makeup and she always let me put some on too. She had the most vibrant smile and laugh, with a little mischievousness. She always made me feel so special when I stayed with her. I know she's happy to be with Albert again. Love you always Joanna!

Joanna has been my friend for 40+ years. We have shared laughter and tears. We have been together in our thoughts and our everyday life. We have supported each other in all things. She is in my heart forever and my memories with Joanna will carry me forever when I think of her beautiful face and love of laughter! Fly with the angels my precious friend! I will love you always.

All my childhood memories center around our home on 5th avenue and being next store neighbors to the Hollier’s. I met Nana when we were 6 years old and I still remember her long long hair. I also remember the day her mother cut it. We played jaxs and pick up sticks on the floor by the big front door all summer long. After high school, we went our separate ways but I kept up with her through my parents. I was fortunate enough to have seen her a few years ago. We talked about old times and her health. RIP my very old friend,
