Billy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was friends with your mother many years ago, and I thought she was great -- so funny and such good company. You are all in my prayers. Kindest regards, Dianne Allen Brooking, West Yorkshire, England.

Jody was one of my best friend's mother so she was like another mother to me growing up. I loved to spend time at their house and always felt welcome. As an adult, I've seen Jody around town usually serving the community in some way (always love the gumbo). I am so sorry that I will be leaving town early Saturday morning so I cannot attend her services, but my prayers are with her family. Cindy, I'd love to see you and your family this week if at all possible.

I knew Jody through my mom, Geraldine "Gerrie" Baker Hazlewood, who was a classmate of Jody's. I was lucky enough to be in town during some of their class luncheons. Jody was a very sweet and pretty lady. Praying she had a safe and peaceful journey to our Heavenly Father and that your memories will give you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
