Jody Roberts Domingue, 69, of Orange, Texas passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at her home surrounded by family. Jody was born November 26, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas to Edwin Roberts and Dorothy Blanchard Roberts. She was a lifelong area resident. Jody was in Public Relations and Marketing at Christus St. Mary Hospital, where she started the Children's Miracle Network. She was also chairperson for March of Dimes in Beaumont, and was instrumental in bringing Mardi Gras to Port Arthur. She worked as a realtor at ReMax First and retired in 2010, but her greatest joy was teaching art. Survivors include her loving husband of 21 years, Clifford "Butch" Domingue, Jr. of Orange; daughters, Leisha Bryant and husband Steve of Nacogdoches, Amberr Melo and husband Eric of Nacogdoches, Donna McPherson and her husband Buster of The United Kingdom, Deanna Elizondo and husband Rudy of Bridge City, Debbie Girouard and husband Blayne of Groves, and Tamara Hebert of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Susan Seymour and husband Edward of Nederland, Bobbi Pratt and husband Wayne of Wildwood; brothers, Edwin "Bubba" Roberts, Jr. and wife Peggy of Nederland, Thomas Roberts and wife Sheila of Mauriceville, Charles "Chuck" Roberts and wife Cindy; grandchildren, J. D. Bryant, Jordan Bryant, Jeep Bryant, Blake Melo, Bailey Jo Melo, Nick Elizondo, Brittney Elizondo, Amy Barker, Josh Elizondo, Megan Green, Steven Tucker, Jude Jordan, and Avery Girouard; great-grandchildren, Harmony, Kaleigh Jo, Nova, Ava, and Peyton; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 4:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., at Procter Baptist Church, 4401 Jimmy Johnson Blvd., Port Arthur, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 8, 2017 at Procter Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Erwin officiating.
