Joe Arnold Burrow, Sr., 55, of Groves, Texas passed away November 11, 2013 at his home. Joe loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. He raised the prettiest roses.
Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Msgr. Kenneth R. Greig officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, John Miguez; his sons, Joe Arnold Burrow, Jr. and Bryan David Harris; and his brother, Lee Burrow. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Knopp Burrow of Groves; his children, Mylinda Burrow and wife, Dulce Davidson of Austin, Charlotte Richard and husband, Russell of Groves, Kevin Stoever and wife, Lauren of Austin, and DeWayne Lopez of Groves; his mother, Anna Miguez of Port Acres; his brothers, John Miguez and wife, Tamara of Bullock and Harland Miguez and wife, Allison of Harleton; his sister, Marilyn Martindale of Port Acres; and 8 grandchildren.
