Joe William Hutto, 87, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Thursday, October 7, 2010 at home with his family by his side. Joe was born August 6, 1923 in Rusk County, Texas to William Riley Hutto and Arie Methvin Hutto. He was a 59 year resident of this area and retired from Gulf Oil Refinery with 35 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches and served on the Board of Directors at Gulf Employee Credit Union for 40 years, President of Gulf Retirees Association for several years and was also an auxiliary volunteer at Mid-Jefferson Hospital and the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Joe and his wife Jo loved to square dance for more than 20 years and enjoyed traveling all over the United States. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2010 at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Arie Hutto, brothers, Billy, Sidney, Charles, John, Alvin and Thurman, and sister, Ann. Surviving relatives include his wife, Jo Hutto, son, David Hutto and wife, Kelly all of Port Neches, Texas; sisters, Bell Hensley of Whitehouse, Texas; Bessie Rainwater of Longview, Texas; grandchildren, Meagan and Mason Hutto of Port Neches, Texas; extended family, Patrick and Jeremy Binagia, Dad's Special Angels, Albina Naard, Mayra Wilson, Kenia Sang and Angela Kithler and Odyssey Health Care.
