I am blessed to call the Knight family my dear friends...especially, you, Melissa for bringing the joy of your mother's life into my own by the stories and pictures you shared. The few times I did get to hear your mother talking to you over the telephone (I live in Olympia, WA), the way she talked back to you and yet the love that she poured into you in one swoop, a priceless for any mother-daughter who had that richness together. I'm so sorry for the hurt for all of you that you are going through--it has been 20 years since my own mother passed away and I miss her every day--all I can share is I believe she isn't alone, she is with Him, but also still with all of you/us, and hope that brings some peace.

Joe Ann and I graduated from TJ in 1958. I saw Joe Ann a few times at our class lunch bunch luncheons. She was a very sweet and kind friend. I remember she talked about her family often and at one time was taking care of her husband. I am glad I knew Joe Ann and know she will be missed. I am sorry I didn't see her obituary until today at 11:00 a.m.or I would have come to the visitation.
