Kathy,I was sure sad to hear of Johns passing. I sat back today and thought about the days when he was JP. Back in those days I worked for Pct. 7 Constable Shorty Woods and either Shorty, Gordon Pendergast or I would be in court as his bailiff. He always liked to have us call quotcourt in session, honorable John Borne presidingquot. He took that job as serious as a Supreme Court justice. Thats probable why he sat on the bench as long as he did. You pretty much knew where you stood with John, and I think everyone appreciated that fact. My sincerest condolences for the loss.Dennis DorseyBroken Arrow, Oklahoma

Kathy... and family... you know that we loved and treasured our friend, John Borne and all of the family. You know that he will be greatly missed. Our love, our compassion is with you always. We who are left behind on earth are the ones that are hurting now for this loss, but our friend, John, has no pain any longer. God is so good. He will guide us as we make our journey here on earth... until we see all of our loved ones again. I will always be grateful to John for being willing to come out on Christmas Eve, 1986 to marry his friends, Barry and BJ... John even gave Barry a chance to change his mind. John knew that we loved each other so much like you and John. Love and blessings to you all. Barry and BJ Barbara Bridges

Kathy Ben and I will miss seeing John quotdrivingquot around outside and over to our house on his scooter and feeding quothisquot birds which he claimed I was trying to steal when we started feeding them on our driveway as well as other types of harassment he provided in some manner each time we talked all in good fun. I wasnt always particularly a quotJohnquot fan early on, but through the past several years, he and I both grew to tolerate, then understand, and eventually really liked each other and it also helped that Jason and all of his friends grew up so they didnt appear before John any more for stupid pranks. I can honestly say that John was a good man and he will be missed. We lost a good neighbor and friend. We are so sorry for your familys loss.
