I am one of the lucky ones that was able to get to know the real kind awesome side of John. My greatest memorie of John was the night my little girls lawn mower broke. I had ask John if he would see if he could fix it, because anyone that knows John knows when it comes to engines he was like a magician And could fix them faster than just about anyone. Anyways of course John said yes but he wanted to come to my house to look at it. And after working over 12hr in full Asbestos PPE and over 95 degrees temperature . John showed up to look at the mower. When John got there he ask if my daughter was there. And like any dad I was like yes but what do you want with her! Lol John gave me that look he gives. Than John said something that shocked me. He said "I will not fix the mower" and I was like WTH! Because like everyone I was so used to him doing anything I ask him to do and taking him for granted. Than he said "nope I will not fix it but I will show your daughter how to fix it so she dose not have to depend on anyone to fix it for her" And that's what he did. They set there in my garage and pulled The carburetor apart flushing the fuel. And as they worked on it together I seen something that up to that point I had never seen. I seen a man that acts tough and unhappy set there with the biggest smile on his face. That's the moment That I realized John may have always acted like he did not give a crap about people or things but deep down he had one of the biggest harts! From that moment on John was not only my employee but a family friend! John I want you to know that you not only touch or lives but you made us all better people by knowing you! I am honored to have had you in my life and I will never forget you and the awesome person that you are!
